Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. CrewBoard is designed to function fully online and offline. This is a deliberate design decision, superyachts operate in locations where internet connectivity is limited or unavailable, and crew management cannot be dependent on a stable connection. All data syncs automatically when connectivity is restored.
Yes. GEST integrates natively with Crestron control systems and is compatible with any API-based AV/IT environment. It requires only a Wi-Fi connection, no additional hardware or base stations. Your ETO or system integrator can speak with our technical team for integration documentation.
GEST (service call system), LaundryBoard (laundry management), and CrewBoard (personnel tracking) are the three products most relevant to interior operations. All three work standalone but integrate with each other and with the wider YachtCloud suite.
GEST is a purpose-built luxury service call system engineered in the Netherlands over 12,000+ hours of development and testing. It is fully customisable in material and finish, integrates natively with Crestron and API-based control environments, and supports two-way crew communication via the GEST Connect App. GEST offers a built-in option for joinery integration and does not require an on-premises AI server. GEST provides a digital app layer, location awareness, and real-time request tracking.

YachtCloud provides full post-installation support through our global dealer and support network. Our team has deep superyacht experience, we are available from Monday to Friday from 8 to 5 pm.
