LaundryBoard is a browser-based system built for the way laundry actually moves through a superyacht or high-end property: cabin by cabin, garment by garment, shift after shift. It replaces the notebook and the memory of whoever’s on duty with a shared, searchable record, so handovers stay clean and nothing is left to chance.
How it works
Set up once, per trip
Every trip starts with the basics: a name, a location, a start and end date. Once a trip is active, cabins can be configured and reordered by drag-and-drop, enabled or disabled as guests come and go. Wardrobes and their sections can be set up per cabin, so a garment can be logged down to the exact drawer or shelf it belongs in, not just “somewhere in the owner’s suite.”
Log a garment in seconds
Adding a garment takes a few taps: cabin, wash or dry-clean instructions, item type, brand, size, colour, and any notes. A photo can be attached at the same time — a small step that protects both crew and guest if a question ever comes up about pre-existing wear or damage. Once an item’s details have been logged, LaundryBoard remembers them and offers the same brand, size and colour again next time, so repeat items take even less time to enter.
Always know where everything is
The pinboard gives a live, per-cabin view of everything currently moving through the laundry process. Each item carries a simple three-stage status: Pinned while it’s being processed, Unpinned once it’s ready to return, Finished once it’s back in the guest’s hands, so anyone on shift can see exactly where things stand without asking.
A full history, searchable
Every active and past laundry item is logged and searchable, with a detail view for each: check-in history, garment details, notes, photos, timestamps and who handled it. Lists can be exported as a printable or downloadable PDF, whether for a single cabin or one specific item , useful for handovers, or for settling a question after the fact.
Nothing falls through the cracks
If an item is overdue for return, LaundryBoard notifies staff automatically, so a garment is never simply forgotten. Time zones are configurable to match wherever the yacht or property is operating.
Built for accountability
Every user signs in with their own PIN. Administrators can create new users, grant or revoke admin rights, and reset PINs, so it’s always clear who logged, moved, or returned a given item.
System Deployment
LaundryBoard is available as a cloud solution or as a secure onboard server on a local network. Unlike many laundry management tools, it doesn’t require an internet connection or data usage to run, a deliberate choice for an environment where connectivity can’t always be guaranteed.
