Can GEST be customised to match a specific interior scheme?

Yes. Every GEST button is made to order. Materials, finishes, engravings, and touch-zone layouts are all fully configurable from marine-grade stainless steel to hand-stitched leather, from brushed bronze to 24-carat gold. YachtCloud works directly with owners, interior designers, and architects to ensure the specification matches the interior scheme exactly. Samples are available on request.

Is YachtCloud technology suitable for a private residence as well as a yacht?

Yes. GEST, OMNIYON, and ECHO are all installed in luxury residential environments such as private villas, estates, palaces, and penthouses as well as superyachts. The products are identical; the specification and configuration adapt to the property. Many YachtCloud clients have the same technology installed across both their vessel and their principal residence.

How does GEST work from a guest’s perspective?

A guest presses a GEST button once, discreetly, without interrupting the moment. The request is instantly routed to the appropriate crew member via the GEST Connect App. The crew member accepts, fulfils, and closes the request. The guest receives exactly what they asked for, with no follow-up needed. GEST supports multiple request types, service, privacy, do not disturb, emergency, each configurable to the vessel or property’s service model.

What does OMNIYON control?

OMNIYON is an AV and comfort control system that consolidates media, entertainment, lighting, climate, and environmental controls into a single interface. It is configured specifically to the vessel or property, zones, scenes, and preferences set up to match how the owner uses each space. It is available on touch panels, tablets, AVA remotes and mobile devices.

What is YIS and what does it show guests?

YIS is the Yacht Information System, a dedicated tablet application, also available on Apple TV, that gives owners and guests real-time access to the yacht’s data. This includes position, speed, depth, heading, weather, and destination information, alongside curated content about the voyage and itinerary. YIS is configured to the vessel and updated in real time from onboard navigation systems.

Who handles ongoing support?

Support is provided through YachtCloud directly and through your dealer. The YachtCloud team has deep superyacht experience, support is handled by people who understand the environment, not a generic helpdesk.
