We are looking for a Support Engineer who shares our commitment to excellence—someone who can provide impeccable technical support service to the professionals managing our systems on the front line.
The Portfolio You Will Empower
You will be the technical guardian of a sophisticated software suite, ensuring our software, no matter where it runs, remains at the pinnacle of performance:
- OMNIYON: our flagship media and comfort control masterpiece.
- GEST: the world-renowned intuitive service call system.
- YIS & ECHO: next-generation yacht information and network management platforms.
- Operational Excellence Apps: specialised tools like LaundryBoard and CrewBoard that optimise high-end service.
The Challenge
This is not a traditional helpdesk role. You are a critical partner to Technical Officers and ETOs (Electro-Technical Officers) on board the world’s most exclusive vessels and ultra-luxury residences.
- Premium Communication: provide swift, high-level 1st-line support, maintaining professional standards that align with the luxury industry.
- Infrastructure Evolution: proactively manage and execute software and infrastructure updates for existing clients, ensuring their systems are always future-proof.
- Technical Mastery: navigate complex environments using Linux and Docker to deploy and manage containerised solutions across diverse hardware.
- Problem Resolution: diagnose and resolve intricate software interactions, ensuring a seamless experience for owners and guests.
- Hardware support: preparation of the Omniyon players and Gest buttons.
Your Profile
You possess a unique blend of technical “muscle” and a service-oriented mindset.
- The Tech Stack: strong experience with Linux and Docker is essential. You are comfortable at the command line and understand the architecture of modern software deployment. Experience with audiovisual systems is considered a plus.
- Software Specialist: you have a proven track record in software support, with the ability to troubleshoot complex integrations between software, networks, and hardware.
- The Mindset: you are proactive, detail-oriented, and thrive in an environment where “good enough” is never the standard.
- Language: fluency in English is required to support our international clientele.
