GEST, YachtCloud’s custom service call system, was recently featured in the leading Dutch magazine Hospitality Management showcasing top hotel trends in 2020. GEST is a luxury service call system that delivers ultimate service and maximum efficiency in seven-star hotels, superyachts and luxury environments around the world.
TIG (Technological Innovations Group) today announced a new partnership with Dutch luxury AV and IT system product developer, YachtCloud. TIG is a driving force for sales excellence in the AV/IT technology industry and this partnership marks a third strategic collaboration for the company which was founded in February of this year, after rebranding from Crestron EMEA. “YachtCloud is proud to announce that as of today, Technological Innovations Group (TIG) will represent all YachtCloud products in the EMEA region.

YachtCloud perfectly complements TIG’s existing brand portfolio. To launch the partnership TIG will be selling GEST – YachtCloud’s stylish and customisable steward call button. Easily enabled with a wifi connection, GEST is location-aware, intuitive and includes a two-way communication feature to provide a high-end guest service on yachts, in luxury hotel suites, high-end meeting spaces etc. Standard or priority calls are differentiated by touching the call button for two or five seconds and the subtle light and sound features indicate the status of each call, seamlessly informing the user that service will arrive shortly. TIG will be adding YachtCloud’s OMNIYON onboard media content service to its portfolio in the near future.

The superyacht technology specialist YachtCloud has added a sophisticated collection of service call buttons to its innovative product range. GEST is the latest product to join YachtCloud’s suite of technology products and solutions designed and developed to meet yacht-specific demands.
Presented to the industry for the first time at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show, GEST is an ingenious service call solution. Easily enabled with a simple WiFi connection, location-aware and with efficient and two-way communication, GEST embodies excellent service, unrivalled privacy and exquisite materials. Its seamless blend of exclusive design coupled with smart and intuitive technology provides excellent service to the fingertips of those who demand nothing but the very best.
As with all YachtCloud products, onboard integration and actual use have been at the forefront of the design and development. Integration with the existing wifi and control system is easy and no additional hardware or base stations are required. API and Crestron integration is available plus there is a dedicated GEST service app for stand-alone operation as well as continuous and instantaneous status and performance monitoring. The finest materials have been used for a high standard of finish with options for customisation and the design incorporates wireless charging via Qi. In terms of use and functionality, GEST uses touch, light and sound for intuitive user and button interaction and feedback from the crew on the status of their request. Each button is location-aware and can be assigned to a location or a person. Furthermore, emergency calls can be made both from and to a GEST button for enhanced safety.
The GEST collection consists of three main models: the all-purpose Solid Black with a nickel-chrome edge, the luxurious Universe with leather housing and the exclusive and bespoke Boutique which can be customised with materials, fine artwork and finishes. All models can be customised with a logo embossed in the centre of the light ring. Measuring approximately 90mm x 28mm and with an average weight of 250g, the GEST buttons are tactile and distinguished.
